CONNECTION TO PILSEN:

Being a Mexican-American artist, Pilsen has always been a neighborhood that I can come to to feel closer to my roots. Although I did not grow up in Pilsen, I was always drawn to the art scene and the vast culture that comes with visiting the neighborhood.

ARTIST BIO/STATEMENT:

I am a self-taught artist. Born in Jalisco, Mexico and raised in Chicago. My art focuses on numerous topics like immigration, Mexican-American culture, pop-culture and fatherhood.   Through my work, I hope to showcase that art has no borders.
