About the Event

We are happy to be exhibiting a collection of work by students of Horizon Science Academy Southwest

Show Runs: June 2nd - July 9th

This work was part of the FREEDOM SCHOOL MURAL LEADERSHIP ACADEMY lead by Victor Montañez who brought us on as the arts partner org during the school year.

Victor along with PACH teaching artists, @rebelbettyarte , @kai.thee.artist , @fab_erre_pe , @brianherrera.art guided the students in the creation of a 6ft x 90ft mural that was presented at the end of the school year. Themed and inspired by the leadership concepts of the Freedom School, students participated in a number of leadership workshops, activities and art making to pull the collaborative mural together.

The collection of work on exhibit was part of their process in bringing to canvas, ideas, concepts, techniques and styles that would all be used on the final mural.

We invite you to view this beautiful work that was contributed by students from 2nd grade through High School.
