About the Event
Join us for a mellow Wednesday evening to meditate, make music and make friends! This family-friendly workshop combines music and meditation with a modern twist on an ancient spiritual practice from the yoga tradition. Let the mid-week stress melt off, carried by waves of spiritual sound.
Every gathering leads off with a guided breathing practice and resonant OM circle that takes you deep into a meditative space. Then, sing along with ancient mantras in a call and response format set to familiar tunes. Come listen, soak up the vibes, sing along if you like, and bring an instrument to jam along if you feel inspired!
All ages, voices, languages and experience levels welcome - no need to be an experienced meditator, yogi, musician or singer.
Russian, Ukrainian and Polish instruction available, and Spanish or Mandarin by advance request.
