Bryn Gleason

Bryn R. Gleason is a Chicago-based Visual Artist, practicing Traditional Intaglio Copper Etching Printmaking and Mixed Media Photo-Transfer based Artwork. After receiving her BFA from the University of Minnesota in 2013, she had her debut solo exhibition at the GreenPoint Gallery in New York. Her work is heavily influenced by her volunteer experiences with underprivileged youth, her experience as a Queer Woman, and her time spent submerged in nature as a child. Whether it be a piece about heartbreak, love, or an exploration of plants and animals, her attention to detail is evident with an overall aesthetic that is dark, moody, and early captivating.
