JavMar Artesania

In 2012, Javier and Maria Vargas started Artesania Javmar and his handmade artwork focuses on native Taino culture, contemporary themes and symbolism of Puerto Rican heritage and culture. Through the use of natural raw materials, medium and photography his artwork conveys a sense of joy and generosity of spirit. In 2007, Maria began to pursue her passion in creating works of art that show the beauty, vitality and changing Mexican culture from traditional to modern themes of daily life through the use of different mediums from oil painting, photography, collage and jewelry making.
